MIC’s ILM Academy Sunday School 

At the MIC’s ILM Academy, we strive to support students as they deepen their understanding of Islam and apply their American Muslim identity through interactive classes, engaging discussions and service opportunities. Students will learn the basics of our faith including ethics and morals and how they can apply it with compassion in the model of our Prophet (pbuh).


Our Mission: 

*Foster a positive Muslim-American Identity and instill a sense of pride in their faith and heritage
*Provide students with an environment where they can learn and practice Islamic values based on the Quran and Sunnah
*Nurture the development of strong Muslim character based on Islamic beliefs and positive behavior
*Give students a strong foundation in understanding the Quran through introduction of key vocabulary, memorization, and tafseer of relevant passages and short surahs.


Sundays, 10:00 am-1:10pm
Classes begin September 8th and end on May 31st


Children in Kindergarten take classes in Tafseer, Islamic Studies, Seerah. Students also memorize short surahs.

Children in classes 1st – 6th take classes in Islamic Studies, Seerah, Tafseer. Students also memorize surahs and duas. 

The curriculum is developed by the MIC Curriculum team in coordination with the ADAMS Center. We also use the IQRA Curriculum and I love Islam Curriculum. 



$600 for first child
$300 for second child
$150 for each additional child

Important Updates:

*Quran instruction will no longer be a part of our program. Focused Quran instruction will take place in our Weekend and Weekday Quran Program. 

*We are no longer enrolling Pre-K Students.

*Kindergarten students must be age 5 by September 2019. Please bring a birth certificate to verify the date of birth on the first day of classes. 

*Children who are not 5 by September 2019 may join the waitlist. 

*If inaccurate student information is provided at the time of registration, you may be charged a fine and your child may be unenrolled from the program.
